Resilicorp was founded by a professor of environmental studies and policy with a strong interest in applying theory to practice in the real world. With a deep passion for improving the lives of people and the ecosystems they inhabit around the world, we found that pairing research with entrepreneurialism would offer endless opportunities.
Creating circular plastic economies is one of the only ways to truly combat global plastic waste and pollution. This requires stronger recycling programs, a reduction in virgin plastic production, and efficient manufacturing facilities; continuous recycling of existing plastics results in minimal waste, meaningful energy savings and more job opportunities.

ResiliCorp is a Maine-based sustainable waste management company seeking to eliminate the use of virgin plastics and create a circular plastic economy by providing packaging products made from fair-trade certified and ocean-bound recycled plastic. Our work to reimagine and broaden the use of plastic waste is implemented in our three-tier solution: cleanup and restoration of devastated areas, processing collected waste into valuable products, and developing new waste strategies with local authorities.
